| Using Template Options makes it easy to tell the
difference between your form template and form. In FormBuilder
pull down the Options menu and select [Template Options] a dialog box
listing form template options displays.
- Select the Color selection drop down menu to specify what color you want your
template to be.
- Select the Object Filters that you need turned on or off, I turned off Show
Texts.

- You can control whether or not the form template objects can be selected or modified by
turning the Disable template objects selection on or off. Checking the box
prevents selection of the objects; turning off the checkbox allows you to select and
modify the objects.
- Lock template
can be selected to control the persistence" of a form
template. Checking the box will keep the template loaded even during New Form and Load
Form operations. To remove the template, uncheck the box or select [Remove Form Template]
from the File menu.
- Select [OK]
Loading a Form Template
- Pull down the File menu then select [Load Form Template]. You will see a
list of all the forms in your current Elixir forms folder. Select the .ELX file that you
will use as a form template, this can be any form or form with your scanned and converted
.LP3 image in it.
- Your form template will display in the FormBuilder in the color that you setup earlier

- Now you can begin creating your new form.
- After you are finished creating your form, you can remove the form template by selecting
the File pull down menu then [Remove Form Template]
