| Tip of the Month: Creating a Form Overlay Here is a modification to a similar tip from last month. Special thanks to Monica at Laser Tech Inc., for this one. 1. Scan the form you wish to duplicate using a flat-bed scanner (logos, text, lines, boxes,... everything.) 2. Save the scanned file as a bitmap (BMP). 3. Using the Elixir Desktop & Converters, convert the BMP to an LP3. 4. In the FormBuilder, create a new form and click the graphics button to bring in the LP3 of the form you just scanned and converted. 5. Design your new form over top of the LP3 template. (Simply trace the LP3 to draw boxes and lines, add text and graphics, choose fonts, etc.) 6. When you've finished tracing the LP3, just delete the graphic template and save the new form. |
That's it. Until next month, keep those tips coming in!
